Booking & Scheduling

How do I book an appointment? The easiest way is through our [Online Booking Portal] or by calling/texting us at (816) 429-2407. We typically require the vehicle year, make & model, and general condition (photos) to provide an accurate estimate.
Do I need to be present for the appointment? Not necessarily. As long as we have access to the vehicle and the keys, you can go about your day. We can send you a digital invoice and photos once the job is complete.
What is your cancellation policy? We ask for at least 24–48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment may be subject to a fee.
What happens if it rains? If the weather is poor, we can work in your garage (we can do exterior cleaning in the rain). If the conditions are too severe (high winds or heavy storms), we will contact you to reschedule for the next available clear day.

On-Site Requirements

Do you need to use my water or electricity? Most of the time, no. We are fully self-contained with our own water tank and power station. However, depending on the job we may need extra water or access to a power outlet.
Can you detail my car at my office or apartment? Yes! We can detail your car almost anywhere as long as there is enough clearance (about 5 feet) around the vehicle and we have permission from the property manager.
Do I need to do anything to prepare my car? We recommend removing all personal belongings (wallets, gym bags, loose change) from the interior. This allows focus entirely on cleaning every nook and cranny without risking your items. We will not clean the glove box, center console compartments or trunk if they aren't emptied before the detail.

How often should I have my car detailed?

To maintain resale value and protect your paint from the elements, we recommend a full detail twice a year, with monthly or bi-monthly maintenance washes in between.

Do you offer maintenance plans?

Yes! We offer bi-weekly and monthly maintenance memberships at a discounted rate. They include exterior upkeep and interior refreshes to keep your vehicle showroom-ready year-round — with priority scheduling for members.

Do you come to me, or do I have to drop off my vehicle?

We’re 100% mobile — Missouri Details comes to your location fully equipped with water, power, and professional-grade tools. All we need is space to work safely around your vehicle.
